HEY THERE,
I'M FAITH

YOUR ADVENTUROUS ELOPEMENT & WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
for the free-spirits and nostalgic souls
If adventure makes your heart beat fast, you don't mind straying from tradition, sarcasm and 70's music are your love languages, and you're down to frolic through an open field with me, we'll be best friends in no time. When you hire me, you aren't just investing in a service, you're investing in a person. You're putting your trust and love in me - or in whoever you choose - to capture one of the most beautiful days of your lives! So do your research. Ask questions. Get to know the lil bean behind the lens.
This is me: I live and breathe Fleetwood Mac and Abba songs. I love to dance and paint and hike and, yes, take photos. I'm a sucker for nostalgia and believe that the worlds colors should be the same shade as vintage National Geographic magazine covers. The Office and Trailer Park Boys are the best sources of serotonin and I don't like coffee. I believe that love is one of the most powerful things ever given to us; and that it's so important to live today like it was your last - because tomorrow is never promised.
Working with me will feel like spending time with an old friend who you haven't seen in years, maybe even a lifetime. It will be easy, carefree, warm, and honest. It is wildly important to me that you & your love are comfortable being comfortable with me. I would say my photography style is "storytelling photojournalism." So we're going to have fun, and things will be blurry and imperfect and real, just like your love.

I'm not going to have you show up and force you into awkward poses. Forced smiles are not my vibe. Instead, I like to take the time to get to know you in order to understand what feels most comfortable and natural for you.
If you're more on the shy side and have more of a gentle spirit about you, the crazy, wild photos running around and being tossed in the air might not capture your energy the same way those quiet moments, slow kisses, and gentle twirls would.
The same goes vice versa. If you're loud, adventurous, and goofy with your partner, you'll want to have photos and - more importantly - memories that emulate that.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you want to be able to recognize the people in the photos hanging on your wall. When you're looking through old photo albums with your grandchildren, you'll want to remember the moment as yourself - not the forced version for the sake of the "perfect photo."
It's the imperfect moments that make life worthwhile, anyway.

I want to be more than just your photographer - I want to be your friend.
I believe wholeheartedly that friendship is the key to a great session. It truly does help create a safe and comfortable environment where you can be vulnerable in front of my lens.
Many of my couples often say "we're so awkward in front of the camera" before we shoot together - and it's perfectly normal to feel that way!! I feel that way when I'm in front of the camera. But where there is friendship, and where there is familiarity - there is the freedom to let your guard down. You're not thinking of how you look, you're only thinking of that moment. That space in time together...and that is the memory that you'll look back on. That is the memory I'll capture for you.

When I was a little girl, I used to go through old photo albums - specifically my parents' wedding album. I remember seeing how truly happy and in love they were. Their love and the love of their friends and family shown through every picture. The pride in my father's smile, the gleam in my mother's eyes - all right there in little squares on the pages of this little green book.
25 years later and that book is one of the only things they have as proof of that day. Tangible evidence that their love is as strong today as it was back then, and nobody will ever be able to put a price on that. That is what TRUE value is.
Getting your pictures taken is not just something to just mark off of a checklist. They're one of the only things that last past the wedding day itself. So who you choose to document your day is extremely important.
You should choose someone who invests in you completely and who understands the importance and the value of these photos. Because they're not really just photos, are they? They're a time capsule for your love.

Whether it's me or someone else you choose, please invest in a photographer who is invested in your experience, and who puts their heart, soul, and energy into every couple. Because that’s what you deserve.
I want you to look back at old albums and feel everything you felt on your special day and then some. You deserve to hold these memories in your hands and know that 50 years from now they will still bring back all the emotion and joy as the day itself. Because years from now, those photos will be the only tangible thing to hold onto from your day.
